Tis The Season..

Tis the season....for me to be sick. I ALWAYS get sick this time of year. Sinus pressure, body aches, fluid in my ears, sore throat. Ugh.

I've been the only sales/customer service person at work this week which hasn't made for the best week. Wednesday and Thursday weren't bad, but of course today when I was feeling like crap, we were busy. I didn't see the broadcast, but I heard from several customers that a local news station ran a story last night about an insurance law that changes Jan. 1. Either people didn't listen or the reporter didn't state the coverage will automatically be applied to every one's policy Jan. 1. As a result, I received lots of calls from customers freaked out that their policy wasn't up to date/legal/canceling/increasing. The terms they used varied from call to call. Awe good times, good times!

Luckily, we got off an hour early so I took my under the weather, grumpy butt home and tried to take a nap. I couldn't sleep so I ended up watching my first ever episode of Hannah Montana on Disney. I know she is all the rage with the tween set, but since my son is three I've never seen the show. It was a toss up between her and Oprah. I didn't feel like watching a show about unsuccessful suicide attempts so Hannah Montana it was!

Tonight to cheer me up, my son and I squeezed in one final time of driving around town looking at Christmas lights. Needless to say we are both upset Christmas is over. We both agree that is sad. Very sad!
